Carrasco con 17 y Arteaga con 16 fueron las figuras del ganador mientras que en el perdedor se destacó Guevara con 18 puntos y 14 rebotes.
Chile se jugará la vida ante el local Argentina en la última jornada en busca de la clasificación.

Paraguay se repuso de la derrota con Brasil ante la débil Bolivia que cambió en algo la mala presentación del del debut.
De todas formas no fue partido, de principio a fin victorias de los guraníes que dominaron completamente el encuentro. Los paraguayos sacaron 30 en el primer tiempo y en el complemento aflojaron en algo y los bolivianos hicieron más decorosa su derrota.
Mellone con 15 y Riveros con 13 fueron los destacados. En el perdedor el mejor fue Camargo con 16.
