Por cuarto año consecutivo “Houston Blaze” realizara una gira por todo Chile llevando la fiesta y el espectáculo del basquetbol estadounidense. Los norteamericanos, además de las exhibiciones efectúan clínicas y visitas a hospitales y centros socialesHouston Blaze ( http://www.houstonblaze.com/ ) es una agrupación que reúne a destacados basquetbolistas profesionales, que han militado en la NBA, ABA, USBLD y la D-LEAGUE, en los Estados Unidos. Los Blaze promueven el desarrollo del baloncesto en giras que realizan a países de Sudamérica, Europa y el Caribe. Antes de venir a Chile, el combinado internacional viene de una gira por México.Este año el equipo tiene como técnico al ex NBA Robert Reid y al ex jugador NBA, Marcus Fleming. A nivel local Hosuton Blaze, se midió con el primer equipo de SS.CC en junio del 2007, en un repleto gimnasio Arlegui. Antes del inicio del partido los norteamericanos realizaron una clínica con los niños de las escuelas municipales del municipio de la ciudad de Viña del Mar.
